Smiling patient

It started with a toothache.

In 2023, the nine-year-old niece of one of our founders woke up with tooth pain. She was staying with her aunt and uncle for the summer — a long way from her usual dentist. What followed was hours on the phone, ringing round in search of a dentist who'd see her. Practice after practice was fully booked, or not taking new patients. Eventually a last-minute cancellation came through, but it meant a long drive just to get a young girl out of pain.

That experience sparked an idea: why not connect people who need dental care with the last-minute slots that already exist?

We looked into the world of dentistry and found some scary numbers. Up to 97% of people trying to register as a new NHS patient can't get an appointment. Over a quarter of UK adults struggle with long waits, fully booked practices or endless calls — even when they're in real discomfort.

We believe finding a dentist shouldn't need a lucky break. It should be quick, simple and stress-free.

That's why we're building the UK's first dental marketplace: one place to search, compare and book across thousands of practices. Because everyone deserves to find a dentist. Fast.
